After an exciting first day at the CEV Continental Cup Final in the Hague, it is time for the quarterfinals on the second day’s agenda. In each gender, the eight surviving teams will be further cut in half with the four remaining semifinalists to continue on Friday on the way to the coveted Olympic visa for Tokyo 2020. The matches on both competition courts will be streamed live on the CEV YouTube channel.

Once again, the ladies will lead the way, as Greece and Poland take to centre court at 09:30 local time for two consecutive rubbers. At the same time, Austria and Norway will start their tie on court 2. The second rubber between these two sides, however, is set to start at 11:30 on centre court. Similarly, Russia and Ukraine will start on court 2 at 10:30 and move to centre court for the second game at 12:30.

The first two rubbers in each of the first three men’s quarterfinals will also be split between the two courts, starting on court 2 and moving to centre court two hours later. Switzerland and Austria will start off at 11:30, followed by Germany and Spain at 12:30, and Turkey and Latvia at 13:30.

Should there be any golden matches to decide any of these six ties, they are scheduled to take place on court 2 after 14:30.

The home teams will play their ties on centre court in the prime time session. The Dutch women will entertain Spain, starting at 17:00. The men’s national team of the Netherlands will be challenged by neighbours Belgium at 19:30.
