With some of the big pre-favourites now out of contention, four teams per gender remain standing in the race for the last European Olympic quotas awarded to the winners of the CEV Continental Cup Final in the Hague. The two women’s and two men’s semifinals are set to take place on Friday to determine the participants in Saturday’s final showdown. All remaining games will be played on centre court at Scheveningen Beach and will be streamed live on EuroVolleyTV.

Friday’s programme starts at 09:30 local time with the women’s semifinal tie between Russia and Greece. Two hours later, a first whistle will sound to mark the start of the first rubber in the men’s encounter between Switzerland and Germany. Should there be any golden matches in these two ties, they will take place right after that, from 13:30 on.

The evening session will follow a similar format. It starts at 17:00 with the first two rubbers of the women’s semifinal between the Netherlands and Norway, continues at 19:30 with the first two men’s games between the home team and Latvia, and ends with the golden match deciders, if such are needed.
